A lifelong Manchester United supporter, Simon enjoys live music, comedy and theatre, and when he’s not working or keeping an eye on the state of the world, you’ll usually find him socialising with friends and family.
A down-to-earth and straight-talking recruiter, Simon brings plenty of personality to Talent Hive. Having previously worked within Facilities Management and Construction, he understands the industry from both sides of the table and enjoys helping clients and candidates navigate what can sometimes be a complicated recruitment market.
Away from recruitment, Simon is a keen tennis player and has even represented Great Britain at Ultimate. He’s also got a keen interest in the UK skills shortage, and is never short of an opinion on why finding and retaining the right people has become such a challenge.
For Simon, recruitment is about more than filling a vacancy. It’s about understanding people, understanding businesses, and making sure the two are genuinely right for each other.
