The Package
- £45,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
- Working hours: 6:30- 3:00pm

- Role of Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering a high-quality, fresh food offering within a busy, high-volume site
- Oversee daily food preparation and service, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
- Lead and support a team including CDPs and junior chefs, driving standards and development
- Assist in menu planning and innovation, maintaining a focus on seasonal, fresh ingredients
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service periods
- Maintain excellent health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
- Support in managing food cost and kitchen budgets
The Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef within contract catering, education, or high-volume hospitality
- Strong fresh food background with a passion for quality ingredients
- Experience leading and developing kitchen teams
- Highly organised with the ability to perform under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A hands-on approach with a positive, team-driven attitude
