The Job Role

  • Taking meetings and events sales enquiries and converting the business for two Hotels. Up selling every enquiry to maximise revenue
  • Developing new opportunities and the existing client base
  • A mixed role including both Proactive & Reactive Sales activities
  • Show rounds and client appointments
  • To manage the full event process from initial enquiry to obtaining final details and handing over efficiently to the operations department
  • To develop and maximise repeat business to increase revenue for the meetings and events department

The Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience within meetings and events environment
  • The experienced meetings and events sales executive will ensure maximum sales conversion of all enquiries at the venue
  • Be able to handle a busy sales environment with high volume
  • The meetings & events sales executive will have excellent attention to detail to ensure all information is accurately entered into the system
  • A keen attitude to go beyond expectations and deliver exceptional customer service
