The Job Role
  • The experienced Account Manager will drive and sell all market segments for the hotel 
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to grow business for the hotel and wider group
  • Generate new business for the Birmingham property via sales activities
  • This role will be reporting into the hotel General Manager with a dotted line into the DOS
  • The Account Manager will be the face of the business during client show-rounds, FAM trips as well as representing the hotel & company at trade shows & exhibitions  
 
The Requirements
  • The Account Manager will have previous experience and proven success in a proactive sales role
  • Solid track record of securing new business within the MICE & corporate sectors
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing the sales strategy 
  • Be able to use initiative and have the ability in negotiating rates to secure new business at all times
  • Local market knowledge required
