The Company
- A dynamic, Birmingham-based events business delivering high-quality experiences across both leisure and corporate markets.
- Our client is an ambitious and growing operator with a strong reputation locally and increasing reach across the UK, placing creativity, relationships, and commercial performance at the centre of everything they do.
- Up to £70,000 per annum basic salary
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Monday to Friday working hours
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

- Sales and Marketing Director for a well-established midlands events business.
- Senior leadership role, reporting directly into the Managing Director.
- Responsible for driving revenue growth through 70% proactive sales activity across the local Birmingham market and wider UK, alongside 30% strategic marketing oversight.
- Developing and securing new leisure and corporate event business while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
- Ownership of the sales pipeline, networking strategy, partnerships, and agency relationships.
- Overseeing brand presence, marketing campaigns, digital strategy, and lead generation activity to support ongoing sales growth.
- A proven senior sales professional with experience within events, hospitality, venues, or a related sector.
- Demonstrable success in proactive B2B sales, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on capability and a commercial focus.
- Strong understanding of marketing activity, branding, and lead generation, with the ability to brief and manage campaigns.
- An engaging communicator, comfortable pitching to both corporate and leisure clients.
- Self-motivated, relationship-driven, and confident operating in a hybrid, autonomous role.
